Strawberry Parfait - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 egg whites
    2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Put sugar and water in a saucepan.
    Boil until the syrup spins a thread (about 5 minutes); beat stiff.
    Beating constantly, pour the syrup slowly over egg whites.
    Keep beating until mixture is cool.
    Fold in heavy cream.
    Fold in strawberries.
    Freeze until firm.
    Serves 10.
