Creton - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground pork butt
    1 large onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Cook pork and onion over low heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
    Add salt and pepper; continue cooking for about 2 hours.
    Add ground cloves the last 15 minutes.
    For smooth texture, mash with potato masher.
    To lessen grease, ladle off after removing from heat.
    Also, when it sets up after cooling, scrape off fat with a knife or spoon.
