Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. each vanilla and lemon juice
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, sift dry ingredients 5 times.
    Add milk and shortening and beat 2 minutes.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flavoring and beat until thoroughly mixed.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
