Hot Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pears
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1 can peaches
    1 can apricots
    2 cans pineapple chunks
    1 can Mandarin cherries
    1/2 c. melted butter
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar
    4 scant tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    Drain fruit (liquid makes good jello with lemon, oranges or lime).
    Put in Dutch oven.
    Cover with mixture of butter, brown sugar and curry powder.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serve in place of vegetable.
