Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter or margarine
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. molasses
raisins or red hot candies
Preparation

I had two excellent reasons to begin
making gingerbread cookies, my children, Jamie and Jessica.
They are now 22 and 17 years old, but they still want gingerbread cookies at Christmastime!
