Pineapple Whip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. plain Knox gelatine
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. whipped cream
    maraschino cherries
    nuts
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil.
    Dissolve gelatine in cold water; stir into pineapple mixture.
    Place in refrigerator until it begins to thicken, then stir in whipped cream, cherries and nuts.
