Miss Elsie'S Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can coconut (save 1/3 for meringue)
    3 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    2 c. milk
    vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks; add other ingredients and cook in double boiler until partly thickened.
    Put in unbaked pie shell and bake until thick.
    Beat egg whites for meringue. Sprinkle coconut on top and brown.
