Ingredients

5 medium carrots
1/4 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. butter
Preparation

Cook carrots in salted water 15 minutes.
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger, orange juice and butter and pour over carrots.
Cook, stirring occasionally for about 8 minutes.
Yields 4 servings.
