Microwave Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large bell peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half; wash and remove seed and white membrane. Mix ground beef and onion in 1 1/2-quart casserole and cook at Max power for 5 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
    Stir in salt, pepper, rice and half of the tomato sauce.
    Fill pepper halves with mixture.
    Place in glass dish.
    Top each pepper with remaining sauce.
    Cook, covered, at Max power for 8 to 10 minutes or until peppers are tender.
    Makes 4 servings.
