Cajun Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 slices bacon
    6 green onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    2 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes
    1 head cabbage
Preparation
    Brown, drain and crumble the bacon. Saute the onions in bacon fat.
    Add vinegar, salt and pepper. Coarsely chop the cabbage and add to skillet. Add drained, chopped tomatoes.
    Cover and simmer 35 minutes. Add bacon. Simmer 10 more minutes.
