Mom'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ready made pie crust
1 pt. strawberries, hulled
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Prepare pie crust according to directions; set aside to cool. Slice enough fresh berries to line bottom of pie shell.
Save several berries with hulls on for garnish.
Cut remaining berries into a saucepan; add sugar and cook on medium heat.
Stir.
Put cornstarch in small bowl; add some liquid from saucepan.
Stir until well mixed and return to saucepan.
Stir until mixture thickens and pour into pie shell.
Cool.
Cover with whipped cream.
Garnish with whole berries.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
