French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 slices day old bread
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients together.
    Dip bread, one at a time, in egg mixture; turn to coat evenly.
    Fry until lightly brown.
    Turn and brown other side.
    Serve with syrup or jelly.
