Pierogi(Stuffed Tiny Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. mashed cooked potatoes
    1 tsp. snipped fresh or frozen dill or 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. dry-curd cottage cheese
Preparation
    Do not add milk or seasoning when you mash the potatoes.
    Cook onion in butter or margarine until tender.
    Combine with potatoes, dill, salt and dash of pepper.
    Stir in cottage cheese.
    Makes 2 cups.
