Fried Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh small button mushrooms
    1 beaten egg
    flour
    salt
Preparation
    Wash and dry fresh, firm mushrooms.
    Dip in beaten egg and dredge in flour.
    Preheat oil to 375\u00b0 on deep-fat thermometer or until a 1-inch cube of bread browns in 60 seconds.
    Fry mushroom until brown, then drain on paper towels.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Serves 4 to 6.
