Friendship Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 eggs
2 c. drained brandied fruit
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. brandied fruit juice
powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation

Combine butter and sugar in large bowl.
Beat well.
Add eggs, beat well.
Coarsely chop brandied fruit and stir into batter.
Add pecans and juice; mix well.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
