Cheese Garlic Biscuits - cooking recipe

2 c. buttermilk baking mix (Pioneer brand)
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1/2 c. garlic powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0. Combine 2 cups buttermilk baking mix, 2/3 cup milk and 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese with a wooden spoon until soft dough forms. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by heaping tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
Combine 1/2 cup butter or margarine and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
