Baked Noodle Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine noodles
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    3 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions.
    Drain well and keep hot.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Stir in milk and cream a little at a time.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored.
    Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks.
    Add yolks all at once to that mixture.
    Continue to cool 1 minute.
    Beat egg whites until they hold
    peak.
