Chicken-Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 baked chicken, torn in small pieces
    1 large can asparagus
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small jar pimentos, drained
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. crushed saltine crackers
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix soup and cheese; heat until cheese is melted. Do not boil. Add chicken and pimentos and mix well.
    In casserole dish, arrange a layer of cheese sauce, a layer of asparagus, a layer of cracker crumbs and repeat layers.
    Dot top with butter and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until browned, approximately 10 minutes.
