Seasoned White Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. white beans
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 pods garlic
    1/4 cooking oil
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped green peppers
    1 lb. salt pork
    salt to taste
    black pepper to taste
    1/4 c. green onions, chopped
    1/4 c. parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Boil
    salt
    pork
    and set aside.
    Reserve some of water from pork
    to
    add
    to
    beans.
    Place beans in pot with water, about 2 to 3-inches above beans.
    Boil until beans get to be a little tender; remove beans from fire.
    Drain and rinse beans. Into empty pot, add cooking oil and saute onions, celery, bell pepper\tand garlic;
    add cubed salt pork and smother a little while.
    To this,
    add\tbeans
    and
    some
    of
    water from pork. Continue cooking
    and
    adding water until desired creaminess. Add
    onion tops
    and
    parsley.
    Should
    cook for half hour or more.
