Peach Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mashed ripe peaches
    1 box Sure-Jell
    5 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Set timer for 1 minute cooking.
    Place peaches and Sure-Jell in a large 6 to 8-quart heavy cooker.
    Bring quickly to a hard boil, stirring constantly.
    At once, add sugar (can't be stirred down). Boil hard 1 more minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Skim off foam with metal spoon.
    May freeze or place in clean jars and seal.
