Crisp Puff-Pastry Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 1/2 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry
    1 egg + 1 tsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    1/4 c. sesame seed
Preparation
    Remove puff-pastry from package and thaw at room temperature for 20 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    On lightly floured surface, unfold 1 sheet of puff pastry.
    With floured rolling pin, roll pastry into 18 x 10-inch rectangle.
    In cup with fork, beat egg, salt and 1 teaspoon water.
    Brush pastry with some egg mixture.
    Sprinkle with poppy seed.
    Cut pastry sheet crosswise into 1/4-inch wide strips.
    Place on ungreased large baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
    Remove.
    Repeat with second sheet only.
    Sprinkle with sesame seed.
    Store in tightly covered container.
    Makes about 12 dozen strips.
