Ingredients

1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
2 eggs
pinch of salt
3 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 qt. black raspberries
Preparation

Mix
thoroughly,
sugar,
eggs and melted butter.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Combine mixtures, alternately, with milk. Put
thin layer of dough in prepared pans, 1 layer of berries
(1 pint) and top with balance of batter.
Then top with balance
of berries.
Bake in 1 large pan, 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1
3/4-inches
or 2
medium
pans,
which
are
greased and floured.\tBake for 30 to 40 minutes at 325\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
