Jo'S Favorite Pear Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 pt. chopped pears in heavy syrup
    1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Melt margarine in large pan or casserole dish.
    Next, mix the pears and syrup with the pineapple and juice.
    Spoon this into the margarine; do not stir.
    Mix the flour, sugar, milk, lemon and vanilla together.
    Pour this over the pear/pineapple.
    Do not stir.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Top servings with ice cream or whipped topping, if desired.
    Good hot or cold.
