Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. jam
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. prunes, cooked, mashed and cooled
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, spices, soda and salt.
    Mix sugar and oil, then add eggs.
    Mix milk alternately with dry mixture to oil and sugar.
    Add prunes, jam and nuts.
    Bake in a tube cake pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0.
    You may frost with Buttermilk Icing.
