Black Forest Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) devil's food cake mix with pudding
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
    Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake as directed.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
    Slice cake horizontally to make 3 layers.
    Place bottom layer on cake plate.
    Spread with about 1 cup whipped topping.
    Top with 1/3 of cherry pie filling.
    Repeat on 2nd and 3rd layers.
    Chill.
