Mulberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mulberries
    1 c. honey or sugar
    cinnamon
    nutmeg
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. honey or brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour mulberries into greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Pour honey or sugar over berries.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Combine egg, milk, oil and honey or brown sugar in mixing bowl; blend well.
    Fold in flour, baking powder and salt, adding a small amount of milk, if necessary, to form very soft dough. Spread dough over berries.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
    Serves 6 to 8.
