Fried Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. milk
2 2/3 pkg. dry yeast or 1 c. dry yeast
1/2 c. shortening
7 to 9 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
6 tsp. salt
Preparation

Add yeast to warm water.
Add other ingredients and let dough rise.
Work into biscuits and drop into fat.
This recipe will make about 7 dozen biscuits.
They can be frozen individually and stored in bags.
When you work them up, don't let the biscuits rise too high.
The fat should be slightly hotter than 350\u00b0.
If fat should be too hot, the biscuits will be soggy in the center.
