Karo Krazy Krunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn (unsalted)
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Karo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix nuts and popped corn in a large bowl. Set aside.
    In saucepan, combine sugar, butter and Karo. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
    Boil until mixture reaches 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer (hard crack stage). Add vanilla and stir.
    Pour over popped corn, stirring to coat.
    Quickly spread onto a cookie sheet to cool.
    Break apart when cooled.
