Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
pinch of salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine egg yolks, salt and milk; mix well.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly until warm.
Combine sugar and flour, mixing well.
Gradually add to milk mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat; stir until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and coconut.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add sugar; spread on top of pie.
