Adam'S Pear Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie crust shells (not baked)
    enough diced pears to fill both pie shells
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. candied ginger, minced or powdered ginger
    1 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. oleo, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except oleo and divide evenly between the pie shells. Dot oleo pieces over top of filling.
    Cover with top crust.
    Score top crust with knife to allow steam to escape.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until crust is lightly browned, about 10 to 15 minutes. Turn temperature down to 350\u00b0.
    Bake until juice bubbles out top and looks thick (about 45 minutes to 1 hour).
