Dog Biscuits(For Man'S Best Friend) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. rye or buckwheat flour
1/2 c. brewer's yeast
1 c. bulgur
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. parsley flakes
1/4 c. dry milk
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. chicken broth
1 egg, beaten, with 1 Tbsp. milk (as glaze)
1 tsp. dry yeast
Preparation

Combine flours, yeast, bulgur, cornmeal, parsley flakes and milk in a large bowl.
In small bowl, combine yeast and warm water and stir until dissolved.
Add chicken broth.
Stir liquid into dry ingredients and mix well with hands.
Dough will be stiff so add more water if necessary.
Roll dough 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface.
Cut with knife or doggie bone cookie cutter. Transfer cut biscuits to cookie sheet and brush lightly with egg glaze.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Turn off heat and let biscuits dry out in oven overnight.
Yield:
6 to 7 dozen biscuits.
