Apple Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. lard or butter
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
milk (to make a soft dough)
Preparation

Roll out
dough.
Spread
with\tbutter,
cinnamon and 4 tablespoons brown
sugar.
Add
2
cups finely chopped apples; make a roll, then slice about 1/2 inch thick, put in cake pan. Mix 1 cup water and 1 cup molasses; pour over the rolls.
Bake in moderate oven.
Serve with milk.
Eat while hot.
