Wilda'S Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork steak, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
    1 small green pepper, cut in strips
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. prepared rice
Preparation
    Brown pork in fat; add water, cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Drain pineapple and save syrup.
    Combine brown sugar, vinegar and soy sauce; add to pork.
    Mix cornstarch well with pineapple juice and add.
    Continue cooking, stirring until gravy thickens. Add pineapple, green pepper and onion.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes and serve over rice with soy sauce.
