Sugared Nuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine sugars and sour cream in large saucepan.
Cover over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking without stirring to 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until mixture forms soft ball in cold water.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts.
Stir gently until all nuts are cooked. Pour on wax paper.
Separate nuts with fork.
Let dry; store in airtight container.
