Sweet-Sour Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans French-cut green beans
    1 medium onion, cut into rings
    3/4 c. slivered almonds
    6 slices bacon
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Place beans, onion rings and almonds in layers in casserole. Fry bacon crisp.
    Mix sugar and vinegar with drippings.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over beans.
    Let marinate overnight.
    Crumble bacon on top.
    Heat at 350\u00b0 until piping hot.
    Serves 6 to 8.
