Buttercream Icing(Decorating) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. softened butter
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    With an electric mixer, cream butter and shortening.
    In separate bowl, sift powdered sugar; measure.
    Add powdered sugar to creamed mixtures.
    Add vanilla, salt and milk.
    Mix until smooth.
    You may need to thin a little if too thick (should be the consistency of mashed potatoes).
