Peeking Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sifted 10x sugar
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 drops red food color
    3 drops green food color
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat flour and salt into creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Divide butter in half.
    Add red color to half and green color to other half.
    Mix.
    Chill 30 minutes. Shape into balls using rounded teaspoon of dough.
    Refrigerate while making filling.
