Mary'S Taco Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    2 c. shredded Cheddar and Colby, mixed with chili powder
    1 c. water
    1 can mushroom soup
    2 c. sour cream
    1 bag tortilla chips
Preparation
    Cook meat and onions; drain.
    Add salt, garlic powder, taco seasoning and water.
    Bring to boil and simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in soup and sour cream.
    Bring to simmer.
    Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Layer chips.
    Top with mixture (one-half), then 1 cup cheese.
    Repeat!
    Bake uncovered at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbling and cheese melted.
