Mildred'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. boiling water
    1 oz. chocolate, melted
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Add boiling water.
    Cook in double boiler until mixture starts to thicken.
    Add eggs and chocolate. Cook until mixture becomes thick.
    Add vanilla; pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue.
