Corn Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. frozen corn, thawed and drained
    1 1/2 c. nonfat evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. reduced-calorie butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. reduced-calorie butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix corn and milk and bring to a boil.
    Separate corn from milk and return milk to fire.
    Make paste from margarine and flour, adding the paste to milk to thicken.
    Simmer 5 minutes and add salt and sugar.
    Return corn to milk and bring back to a boil over low heat.
    Transfer creamed corn to casserole dish.
    Sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese.
    Dot top with melted margarine
    and brown under broiler.
    Makes 6 servings.
