Lost Bread(Pain Perdu - French) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. canned milk
    3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
    6 or 8 slices stale bread
    Pam
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream eggs and sugar together well.
    Add milk and vanilla and stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Dip whole slices of bread into the mixture, allowing bread to absorb the milk, but not to become soggy.
    Spray skillet with Pam.
    When pan is hot, put bread into skillet and fry until golden brown.
