Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks butter (save little for top)
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 box sour cream (8 oz.)
    10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    garlic salt and black pepper to taste
    corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except the reserved butter and corn flakes.
    Pour into well-greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle top with corn flakes.
    Pour reserved butter over top.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
