Apple Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. tart apples, cut into chunks
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    In an 8 to 10-quart kettle, combine apples and 5 cups of water. Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until very soft, stirring occasionally.
    Strain through a jelly bag or clean pillowcase.
    Do not squeeze.
    Measure juice.
    Add enough water to make 4 cups liquid.
