Tender Barbecue Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced onions
    1 c. tomato catsup
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. salt or less
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. paprika
    5 to 6 lb. spareribs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together to make a marinade.
    Add marinade to large Dutch oven with 5 to 6 pounds spareribs (I like country style ribs).
    Simmer on stove approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally to make sure all ribs are covered.
    Place the \"cooked\" ribs on hot barbecue grill to sear.
    Serve and enjoy. Pass around the cooked marinade and use as barbecue sauce.
    Serves 8 to 10 persons.
