Scottish Minches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 onion, diced
    4 cloves garlic, mashed
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 potato (large Idaho), diced
    1/2 c. crumbs (dry bread, cornflake, etc.)
Preparation
    Brown
    beef
    in
    vegetable
    oil, then pour off any fat. Add onion
    and garlic to meat; steam together 10 minutes.
    Add potato, seasonings
    and
    water to cover potato.
    Simmer until potato
    is mushy.
    Pour
    into\tbaking\tdish; top with crumbs. Bake 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
