Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, boiled in jackets
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. water
    dash of pepper
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel and thinly slice boiled potatoes.
    Fry bacon slowly, drain on paper.
    Saute onion in bacon fat until golden brown.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, pepper and celery seed.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute. Carefully stir in potatoes and crumbled bacon bits.
    Remove from heat, cover and let stand until ready to serve, 4 to 6 servings.
