Jumbalaija - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 can chicken broth
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 garlic cloves
Preparation
    Brown chicken in butter.
    Cook sausage in drippings.
    Remove and drain on paper towel.
    Repeat with ham and vegetables.
    Mix together and add seasonings.
    Add broth and tomatoes.
    Bring to a boil and add rice.
    Bake, covered, one hour until liquid is absorbed.
