Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (sifted)
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick plus 1 Tbsp. margarine
    3/4 to 1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour and measure 2 cups; add salt and baking powder and sift again.
    Cut in margarine until fine mixture.
    Gradually add milk to make a soft dough.
    Flour wax paper or dough board.
    Pour soft dough onto floured paper or dough board and knead several times then firmly pat out to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with floured cutter.
    Makes 12 to 18 biscuits depending on thickness.
    Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
