Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. boiling coffee
2/3 c. cocoa
1 heaping tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. oleo
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Pour the boiling coffee over the cocoa and baking soda in a large bowl.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Cream sugar and oleo.
Add eggs.
Beat well.
Add cooled cocoa mixture.
Add flour and buttermilk alternately.
Stir in vanilla.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
