Honey Of A Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. stone-ground cornmeal
1 c. unbleached flour
2 tsp. low-sodium baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 egg whites
2/3 c. skim milk
1/2 c. plain nonfat yogurt
1 Tbsp. honey
Preparation

In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and baking soda.
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.
Whisk in skim milk, yogurt and honey.
Pour over the dry ingredients.
Stir until all the dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not overmix.
Coat an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with no-stick spray.
Pour the batter into the pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm or cold.
